Equipment

Equipment available for the classroom and check-out:

  • Video conferencing units
  • VHS/DVD players and monitors
  • Camcorders and tripods
  • CDplayer/boomboxes
  • Carousel slide projectors
  • Audio cassette/digital recorders
  • Easels (pads need to be requested)
  • Portable public address systems and microphones
  • 16 mm film projectors
  • Overhead projectors
  • Screens

Equipment is delivered and set up for USM classes on campus and can be ordered through our On-line Equipment Request forms or by calling 780-4280 (Portland) or 780-5356 (Gorham) or 753-6540 (Lewiston Auburn College).

Equipment is provided without charge for use by faculty/staff making off-campus presentations that are directly related to their USM assignments.

Students with a current USM ID may borrow equipment for course-related assignments. Some equipment (e.g. camcorders, computers, LCD panels) requires faculty authorization.

After office hours, please leave a message on the emergency number if the technician on duty does not answer.  The technician on duty checks the voicemail regularly.

Lewiston Auburn College:  753-6540  ITMS equipment services are provided by the Commons @ LAC; there is no after-hours support.
